Making Transitions Work (MTW)

OHA has been selected to participate in the Making Transitions Work (MTW) program, a national effort to allow public housing authorities (PHAs) to design and test local approaches for:
- Promoting self-sufficiency among assisted families;
- Achieving programmatic efficiency and reduce costs;
- Increasing housing choice for low-income households.
The MTW program provides OHA with a unique opportunity to improve the delivery of housing and supportive service to low-income residents of Oakland.
