OHA has been selected to participate in the Making Transitions Work (MTW) program, a national effort to allow public housing authorities (PHAs) to design and test local approaches for:

• Promoting self-sufficiency among assisted families;
• Achieving programmatic efficiency and reduce costs;
• Increasing housing choice for low-income households.

The MTW program provides OHA with a unique opportunity to improve the delivery of housing and supportive service to low-income residents of Oakland.

Proposed Extension to MTW Agreement

OHA plans provide an overview of its programs and describes the MTW initiatives and program or policy changes under consideration.		Data and statistics describing the families OHA serves and the programs OHA administers.
