I want to thank you for your interest and participation in the Section 8 program. In partnership with over 4,500 rental-housing owners, the Oakland Housing Authority provides affordable housing to approximately 10,000 families in Oakland.

We would like to thank all of you who currently provide housing to Section 8 tenants or who have worked with us in the past and we look forward to welcoming new owners to the program. By renting to Section 8 families, you provide an invaluable resource to families in need of affordable, quality homes.
