The Oakland Housing Authority Police Department (OHAPD) is now participating in tip411 service to allow OHA residents and our community neighbors to submit anonymous tips directly to the OHAPD.
OHAPD is embracing new technologies, which allows us to open up a two-way line of communication, which enables citizens to anonymously provide us information. This will assist us in creating a safer community for you and your family. You can even attach photographs and videos after you submit an initial tip!
When you submit a tip through the one of the two options below, it is sent to a third party tip service acting as a privacy buffer between you and the OHAPD to preserve your identity and contact information. If you have a tip for the OHAPD please use either of the two options below to help provide important information related to OHA properties that will help us to keep Housing Authority Communities safe and vibrant for everyone.
Tip submissions are generally answered immediately, but at times may not be received or answered until the following day. In case of emergency, please dial 911. If the situation is not an emergency but still requires an officer to respond soon, then you may call OHA Police Dispatch at (510) 535-3100.
